Setup Help

We help you dial it in

Double-adjustable motorsport damper with independent compression and rebound. 14 clicks of blow-off compression and 24 clicks of rebound — zero cross-talk between adjustments. The 11 Series is JRZ’s core competition platform, delivering professional-grade control with a simpler tuning interface than the triple-adjustable 12 Series. Built to order through Meisterschaft Motorsport Engineering, the official U.S. importer of JRZ Suspension. Every set includes expert setup consultation for your Toyota.

WHY BLOW-OFF VALVE DAMPING CHANGES EVERYTHING

The JRZ 11 Series Coilovers Toyota Supra A90 eliminate the compromise most double-adjustable dampers force on you. Where a single needle valve meters all compression flow — making the damper harsh over bumps if set firm enough for body roll — the 11 Series uses JRZ blow-off valve technology to separate bump response from roll control. A fundamentally different approach to the same 11 Series platform.

JRZ’s blow-off valve separates high-speed impacts from low-speed chassis movement. When the wheel hits a bump at speed, the blow-off opens and releases energy instantly — keeping the tire planted instead of launching it off the surface. At low piston speeds (roll, pitch, squat), the damper stays firm and controlled.

  • High-speed compression (14 clicks) — sets the blow-off opening point. Higher clicks = more grip over rough surfaces without sacrificing body control during transitions.
  • Rebound (24 clicks) — controls how quickly the chassis recovers from compression events. Fine increments let you dial weight transfer rate precisely — critical for brake stability and corner exit traction.
  • With 14 compression clicks and 24 rebound clicks, every adjustment is noticeable but proportional. Zero cross-talk between adjustments — what you change is what changes, nothing else moves.

WHY THE SUPRA A90 RESPONDS TO MOTORSPORT DAMPING

The A90 Supra’s B58 inline-six and short wheelbase make it responsive but demanding on suspension. Under hard track use, twin-tube dampers without a reservoir will heat-soak during a 20-minute session and fade — you lose consistency exactly when you need it most. The 11 Series remote reservoir adds fluid volume and cooling surface area, keeping damping forces stable from your first lap to your last.

The blow-off valve gives the A90 something no conventional double-adjustable can: separate bump compliance from roll control. You can run firm low-speed damping for flat cornering and aggressive transitions while the blow-off keeps the ride compliant over imperfect track surfaces, rumble strips, and curbing. For Supra owners pushing the car on track days, time attacks, or spirited canyon roads, the 11 Series delivers professional-grade damping with a simpler tuning interface than the triple-adjustable 12 Series.

    FAQ

What’s the difference between the 11 Series and the RS PRO?
Both are double-adjustable with remote reservoirs, but they use fundamentally different compression technology. The RS PRO uses a conventional needle valve for compression control. The 11 Series uses JRZ’s blow-off valve system, which separates high-speed bump response from low-speed body control. The 11 Series also has more rebound clicks (14C / 24R vs. 14C / 21R on the RS PRO) and is built to full motorsport specification — the JRZ 8060 piston, lighter construction, and designed for sustained competition use.
Do I need the 12 Series or is the 11 Series enough?
For most dedicated track cars and amateur race programs, the 11 Series provides more than enough adjustability. The 12 Series adds a separate low-speed compression adjuster (10 extra clicks) that gives you finer control over pitch and roll independent of bump response. That level of granularity matters most in professional endurance racing or when you’re chasing tenths at the highest levels. If you’re unsure, start with the 11 — you can always revalve later if your program demands it.
    How long is the build?
Typically 2-4 weeks depending on JRZ’s production schedule. Your exact lead time and shipping details will be confirmed by our team once your order is placed.
Do I need quick disconnects on the Supra?
Quick disconnects make canister routing and future service access easier. They’re not required, but they simplify installation and maintenance. We’ll advise based on your specific setup during consultation.
Can the valving be changed later?
Yes. The 11 Series is fully rebuildable and revalveable. If your tire compound changes, you move to a different class, or your driving evolves — Meisterschaft can revalve to a new spec. Many teams revalve seasonally as conditions and tire choices change.
