Every JRZ PROactive DPi kit is assembled by hand at JRZ Suspension Engineering in Eindhoven. Damper bodies are CNC-machined from aerospace-grade aluminum, and each unit is individually dyno-tested before leaving the factory. The DPi’s position-sensitive internals are paired with the electronic control unit and calibrated as an integrated system for the GT3RS 997’s specific weight and dynamic characteristics — delivering damping behavior that adapts to both where the suspension is in its travel and what the car is doing at that instant.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes the DPi different from the standard PROactive?
The standard PROactive uses electronic control only — the MFC valve adjusts damping based on sensor data. The DPi adds position-sensitive damping to the equation, meaning the damper’s behavior also changes based on where it is in its stroke travel. The combination produces damping curves that neither system can achieve independently.
How does position-sensitive damping work?
Position-sensitive damping uses internal porting and geometry that changes the oil flow path depending on where the piston is in the damper body. Near full extension, full compression, and mid-stroke all produce different damping characteristics — automatically, without any electronic input. The DPi layers electronic control on top of this mechanical intelligence.
Can I run the DPi without connecting to the GT3RS CAN Bus?
Yes. The PROactive DPi can operate fully stand-alone using its own sensor suite and position-sensitive internals. Connecting to CAN Bus adds vehicle data inputs but is not required for full functionality.
How long does a PROactive DPi build take?
