JRZ 12 Series triple adjustable motorsport damper for the Toyota Supra A90 (2019-2026). Rear coilover configuration. Adds low speed compression bypass to independently adjustable compression and rebound, enabling precise tuning of pitch, roll, and vehicle balance. Features the JRZ 8060 motorsport piston and upgradeable to quad-adjustable with the 50 DA option. Built to order through Meisterschaft Motorsport Engineering, the official U.S. importer of JRZ Suspension. Every set includes expert setup consultation for your Toyota.

WHY THE 12 SERIES BELONGS ON THE SUPRA A90

The JRZ 12 Series Coilovers Toyota Supra A90 — motorsport-grade triple-adjustable damping delivered built around the JRZ 8060 piston — the same valving platform used in professional racing. Where the RS PRO3 gives you three adjustments through a remote reservoir design, the 12 Series achieves its triple adjustability through internal bypass circuitry: separate high-speed compression, low-speed compression, and rebound — all independently tuneable without external reservoirs.

  • High-speed compression — sets the blow-off threshold for kerbs, surface transitions, and impacts. Controls how the damper manages large, fast shaft velocities to keep the tyre planted without transmitting harshness to the chassis.
  • Low-speed compression — controls body motion: roll rate, pitch under braking, and squat under acceleration. This is the adjustment that tunes balance and weight transfer independently from bump response.
  • Rebound — controls how quickly the suspension extends after compression. Faster rebound keeps the tyre in contact with the road over successive bumps; slower rebound prevents the car from feeling unsettled on smooth surfaces.

The Supra A90 is a front-engine, rear-drive platform with aggressive weight transfer characteristics. Three independent adjustments let you tune each phase of damper movement separately — setting body control through low-speed compression without affecting how the car handles kerbs and bumps through high-speed compression.

WHAT SEPARATES THE 12 SERIES FROM THE RS LINE

The 12 Series sits above the RS range in the JRZ hierarchy. The key difference is the JRZ 8060 piston — a motorsport-specific valving platform that provides a wider adjustment window and finer resolution across the click range. Where the RS PRO3 is designed for street/track versatility, the 12 Series is built for drivers who prioritise outright grip and chassis response.

The 12 Series is also the entry point to quad-adjustable damping through the 50 DA upgrade. Adding the 50 DA option splits high-speed and low-speed rebound into separate circuits, giving you four independent adjustments — the same level of control found in GT3 and prototype programmes. No other damper in this price range offers a factory-supported upgrade path from triple to quad adjustability.

WHY THE SUPRA A90 BENEFITS FROM THE 8060 PISTON

The A90 Supra shares its platform with the BMW Z4 — a chassis that responds well to damper tuning but punishes vague valving. The 8060 piston’s wider adjustment window means each click produces a meaningful, repeatable change in damper force. On a car with the A90’s weight distribution and short wheelbase, that precision translates directly to lap time: you can tune out understeer on entry without introducing oversteer on exit, or stiffen body control without sacrificing kerb compliance.

The rear coilover configuration places the spring concentrically on the damper body for a compact, self-contained package. This is the preferred setup for dedicated track builds and cars running aftermarket subframes or reinforced rear shock towers.

JRZ 12 SERIES COILOVERS TOYOTA SUPRA A90 FITMENT

Engineered for the 2019-2026 Toyota Supra A90 platform (all variants including the 2.0 and 3.0). Every set is valved by Meisterschaft to a Supra-specific spec that accounts for the A90’s front-engine, rear-drive weight distribution and chassis dynamics. Quick disconnects are included on the front as standard; rear quick disconnects are available as an optional add-on for easier damper removal at the track.

Camber plates (p/n 99 033 A90 01) and rear top mounts (p/n 95 60 07 52) are available separately — both are JRZ-specific components designed to work with the 12 Series damper geometry.

FAQ

What’s the difference between the 12 Series and the RS PRO3?
Both are triple-adjustable, but the 12 Series uses the JRZ 8060 motorsport piston — a wider-window valving platform with finer click resolution. The 12 Series is also upgradeable to quad-adjustable via the 50 DA option, which the RS PRO3 is not. Think of the RS PRO3 as the street/track triple-adjustable and the 12 Series as the motorsport triple-adjustable.
What does the 50 DA quad-adjustable upgrade do?
The 50 DA option splits the rebound circuit into high-speed and low-speed rebound — giving you four independent adjustments instead of three. This lets you tune how the damper recovers from large hits (high-speed rebound) separately from how it controls body motion on extension (low-speed rebound). It’s the same level of control used in GT3 and prototype racing programmes. Contact us to build your kit with the 50 DA upgrade — we’ll spec everything to match your application.
What’s the difference between rear coilover and divorced spring?
In a rear coilover setup, the spring sits concentrically on the damper body — compact, self-contained, and preferred for track builds. In a divorced spring setup, the damper and spring are mounted separately, which allows more flexibility in spring rate selection and can preserve OEM motion ratios. Both configurations use the same damper internals and valving.
Do I need camber plates?
Camber plates (p/n 99 033 A90 01) allow precise camber adjustment beyond what the factory provides. They’re recommended for any car that sees track use or runs aggressive alignment settings. They’re sold separately and designed specifically for JRZ damper geometry on the A90 platform.
What spring rates should I run?
Meisterschaft specs spring rates based on how you use the car. Tell us your split between street, track days, and competition — along with any modifications like aero, big brake kits, or weight reduction — and we’ll recommend a spring package matched to the 12 Series valving.
Can the dampers be rebuilt or revalved?
Yes. Every JRZ 12 Series damper is fully rebuildable and revalveable. If your driving goals change — from street/track to full competition, or to a different tyre compound — Meisterschaft can revalve to a new spec.

NOT SURE WHICH CONFIGURATION?

Tell us how you drive the car and we’ll spec it for you.
