The JRZ RS PRO Coilovers Chevrolet Z06 C8 (Divorced Springs) separate the spring from the damper body, giving you independent control over spring preload and ride height without affecting damper stroke. Built on JRZ monotube technology with a piggyback reservoir, the RS PRO Divorced Springs deliver the same double-adjustable performance as the standard RS PRO in a configuration optimised for packaging and height adjustment. WHY DIVORCED SPRINGS ON THE Z06 C8?

In a standard coilover, the spring sits around the damper body. Adjusting ride height means changing spring preload, which can alter the damper’s working range. Divorced springs solve this by mounting the spring separately — you set ride height with the spring platform and leave the damper stroke untouched. On the C8 Z06 mid-engine platform, this also opens up packaging options where the standard coilover layout may be tight.

Not sure which series?
The RS PRO is JRZ’s double-adjustable monotube with external reservoir — the most capable double-adjustable option in the RS line. The RS PRO3 adds triple adjustment with high/low-speed compression separation. Above the RS line, the 11 Series and 12 Series offer full motorsport-grade performance.

HAND BUILT IN THE NETHERLANDS

Every RS PRO kit is assembled by hand at JRZ Suspension Engineering in Eindhoven. The divorced-spring configuration adds a separate spring perch and platform, all machined and assembled to the same tolerances as the damper itself. Valving is set to Meisterschaft specifications for the Z06 C8, and every unit is dyno-verified before shipping.

This kit is engineered as a direct fit for the 2020-2027 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 C8. The divorced-spring layout uses the same mounting points as the standard version. Valving is optimised for the Z06 weight distribution and mid-engine suspension geometry. Spring packages are available in Street, Street/Track Hybrid, Track, and Custom rate configurations.

FAQ

What is the advantage of divorced springs over a standard coilover?
Divorced springs let you adjust ride height independently of damper stroke and spring preload. In a standard coilover, lowering the car changes how much preload sits on the spring, which affects the damper working range. Divorced springs eliminate that compromise.
Is the damping performance different from the standard RS PRO?
No. The damper internals, valving, and adjustability are identical. The only difference is how the spring is mounted — separate from the damper body instead of wrapped around it.
What spring rates should I choose?
That depends on how you use the car. Street packages are tuned for daily comfort with improved body control. Track packages are stiffer and designed for circuit use. Contact Meisterschaft and we will recommend rates based on your driving style and goals.
Can I rebuild these?
JRZ dampers are fully rebuildable. Meisterschaft Motorsport handles all service and revalving in-house. We can also re-spec the valving if your use case changes.
How long is the lead time?
JRZ dampers are built to order. Typical lead time is 2-4 weeks from the date your order is placed. Contact us for current availability.
