JRZ RS Line — common questions

The questions we get asked most. Great answers here also help this page rank on Google.

What’s the difference between the RS Pro and RS Pro3? +
Both run an external reservoir with adjustable nitrogen gas pressure. The RS Pro is double adjustable — one compression circuit and one rebound circuit. The RS Pro3 is triple adjustable: it splits compression into independent high-speed (14 clicks) and low-speed (8 clicks) circuits on top of rebound (21 clicks), so you can control curb/bump behavior separately from body-control compression. If you’re chasing lap time and changing setup at events, that’s the Pro3.
Are JRZ RS coilovers comfortable enough for daily street driving? +
Yes — the RS Line was specifically designed for “professional performance available for the street.” The smooth linear piston and JRZ’s damping philosophy give you genuine ride comfort, and ride height is adjustable across the whole range. The RS One and RS Two are the most common daily-driven choices.
What does “single / double / triple adjustable” actually mean? +
It’s the number of independent damping circuits you can tune. Single (RS One) adjusts overall damping. Double (RS Two / RS Pro) separates compression from rebound. Triple (RS Pro3) separates high-speed compression, low-speed compression, and rebound — the most control over how the car reacts to different inputs.
Why does the external reservoir matter? +
The reservoir (RS Pro and RS Pro3) adds oil and gas volume. That keeps the damper cooler and more consistent under repeated hard use — so the car feels the same on lap 10 as it did on lap 1 — and it’s what makes adjustable gas pressure possible.
Can Meisterschaft set these up for my specific car? +
