Setup Help

We help you dial it in

JRZ RS PRO 3 triple adjustable damper with external reservoir for the Toyota Supra A90 (2019-2026). Divorced spring configuration. Adds a low speed compression circuit to the RS PRO platform, separating bump response from body control for the ultimate street-to-track setup. Built to order through Meisterschaft Motorsport Engineering, the official U.S. importer of JRZ Suspension. Every set includes expert setup consultation for your Toyota.

The JRZ RS PRO3 Coilovers Toyota Supra A90 deliver the most adjustable damping in the JRZ RS line — built around JRZ triple-adjustable technology that separates low-speed compression, high-speed compression, and rebound into three independent controls. Where the RS PRO gives you two knobs, the PRO3 adds a third for low-speed compression, letting you fine-tune ride quality and body control independently.

WHY TRIPLE-ADJUSTABLE WITH A RESERVOIR MATTERS

  • High-speed compression (14 clicks) — sets the blow-off threshold for impacts, kerbs, and surface changes. Controls how the damper handles large, fast shaft velocities so the tire stays planted without transmitting harshness to the chassis.
  • Low-speed compression (8 clicks) — controls body motion: roll rate, pitch under braking, and squat under acceleration. This is the knob that lets you tune balance and weight transfer independently from bump response.
  • Rebound (21 clicks) — controls how the damper extends after compression. Critical for weight transfer timing, corner exit traction, and overall chassis composure under load.

Three independent adjustments mean you’re not trading ride quality for grip. Each knob does one job, and every click is noticeable and proportional.

DIVORCED SPRING CONFIGURATION

This RS PRO3 kit uses a divorced spring layout on the rear axle. Instead of wrapping the spring around the damper body (coilover style), the spring mounts separately on the factory spring perch while the damper mounts independently. This preserves the factory rear spring mounting geometry and can be the better choice when rear fitment or clearance is tight — especially with aftermarket wheels, big brake kits, or trunk-mounted battery relocations.

The damper itself is identical to the rear coilover version — same valving, same reservoir, same three-way adjustment range. The difference is packaging. If you want the spring on the damper body for a more traditional coilover setup, see the rear coilover variant (separate listing).

WHAT THE THIRD KNOB ACTUALLY DOES

On a double-adjustable damper, compression is one circuit — you’re adjusting everything from parking lot speeds to hitting kerbs with the same knob. The RS PRO3 splits compression into two ranges. Low-speed compression handles the slow shaft velocities that cause body roll, brake dive, and acceleration squat. High-speed compression handles the fast shaft velocities from impacts, kerbs, and rough surfaces.

In practice, this means you can stiffen body control for faster transitions without making the car harsh over bumps. It’s the adjustment that makes the biggest difference for drivers who use their car on both street and track — you can run a firm, responsive setup through corners without punishing your spine on the drive to the circuit.

WHY THE SUPRA A90 BENEFITS FROM A RESERVOIR DAMPER

The A90 Supra’s B58 inline-six and short wheelbase make it responsive but demanding on suspension. Under hard track use, twin-tube dampers without a reservoir will heat-soak during a 20-minute session and fade — you lose consistency exactly when you need it most. The RS PRO3’s remote reservoir adds fluid volume and cooling surface area, keeping damping forces stable from your first lap to your last.

The adjustable gas pressure also lets you fine-tune cavitation resistance based on your spring rates and driving style — something no sealed twin-tube can offer. For Supra owners pushing the car on track days, time attacks, or spirited canyon roads, the RS PRO3 delivers the most adjustment range available in the RS line.

JRZ RS PRO3 COILOVERS TOYOTA SUPRA A90 FITMENT

Fits 2019-2026 Toyota Supra A90 (all variants including 2.0T and 3.0T). Valving and spring selection are tailored to the Supra’s front-engine, rear-drive weight distribution and multi-link suspension geometry. We recommend a full four-wheel alignment and corner balance after installation at a shop experienced with performance suspension setups.

FAQ

What’s the difference between divorced spring and rear coilover?
In the divorced spring setup, the rear spring mounts on the factory perch separately from the damper. In the rear coilover setup, the spring wraps around the damper body. Performance is identical — same damper, same valving, same reservoir, same three-way adjustment. The choice comes down to fitment preference and clearance requirements.
What’s the difference between the RS PRO3 and the RS PRO?
The RS PRO has two adjustments — high-speed compression and rebound. The RS PRO3 adds a third knob: low-speed compression. This lets you tune body control (roll, pitch, squat) independently from bump response (kerbs, surface changes). If you want the most tuning flexibility in the RS line, the RS PRO3 is it.
Do I really need three adjustments?
If you’re doing regular track days and want to fine-tune the balance between ride quality and body control, yes — the third knob makes a real difference. If you’re primarily street driving with occasional track use and prefer simpler tuning, the RS PRO’s two knobs may be all you need.
How long is the build?
Typically 2-4 weeks depending on JRZ’s production schedule. Your exact lead time and shipping details will be confirmed by our team once your order is placed.
Do I need quick disconnects on the Supra?
Quick disconnects make canister routing and future service access easier. They’re not required, but they simplify installation and maintenance. We’ll advise based on your specific setup during consultation.
Can the valving be changed later?
Yes. The RS PRO3 is fully rebuildable and revalveable. If your driving goals change — say you shift from street/track to dedicated competition — Meisterschaft can revalve to a new spec.
