The RS ONE uses a single-tube design where the piston works directly against the oil column, with a gas-charged dividing piston at the bottom of the damper body. There is no external reservoir — all the oil and gas charge are contained within the main body. How does the RS ONE compare to the 12 Series?
The 12 Series adds a piggyback reservoir for increased oil volume and heat capacity, and offers 2-way adjustment (compression and rebound).
