This is a reservation, not a purchase. A refundable deposit registers your interest in the Meisterschaft Motorsport Engineering shim-adjusted rear toe arms for the Honda Civic Type R FK8 and FL5 and the Acura Integra Type S DE5, if we decide to build them. One reservation covers one set of two arms, one per side. Expected price $600.00 per set; reservations are limited to 25. Refundable in full at any time before you confirm a purchase. No shipping date is promised, because there is not one yet.
We are deciding whether to put this part into production, and reservations are the main input to that decision. A reservation deposit is credit toward the arms if we build them. It is not an order, no unit is allocated to you, and no production run is promised. One reservation covers one set of two arms, one per side.
Your deposit is refundable in full at any time before you confirm a purchase. Email [email protected] and we send it back to your original payment method.
What we are not doing: we are not quoting a ship date, because we do not have one yet, and we would rather say that than invent it. Reserving does not commit you to buy.
A rear toe arm for the Honda Civic Type R (FK8 and FL5) and the Acura Integra Type S (DE5) that sets its length with a shim stack instead of a threaded rod end.
Fitment: the FK8 and FL5 Civic Type R and the Acura Integra Type S DE5 share the same rear subframe and toe link, so this one arm is designed to fit all three.
Most adjustable toe arms are threaded: turn the rod end, lock it with a jam nut. The setting is held by thread friction and the clamp of that nut, so it depends on correct torque and on counting turns to keep both sides equal. The rod ends also have to be clocked so each ball sits in the middle of its travel before the nuts go tight. Lock one at an angle and the bearing runs against its limit, binds, and wears out early.
This arm sets its length with a stack of shims clamped between the arm body and the bearing end. The length lives in solid metal and the bearings are pressed in at a fixed angle, so there is nothing to clock. Each shim is a fixed step, the same stack gives the same length on both sides, and a setting can be changed and put back exactly without an alignment rack.

We would rather tell you what is done and what is not.
